Great independent bookstore in Vermont's Capitol city. Wonderful selection. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. If you live here or nearby, join one of their book clubs. It's book stores like this that are rare and valuable to the community. Highly recommended!

My family and I love having Bear Pond books here in Montpelier. Claire, Rob and their team do a fabulous job running their independant bookstore. Many happy memories there of lazy Saturday afternoons browsing, special events and author readings. They are a tremendous community resource. Highly recommend you stop in.
