Nice restaurant, I liked the "outside of the box" thinking in the menu. Rather small portions though.
Over priced and a crapshoot.

Neci On Main is really starting to turn around. I heard the spring menu is going through some changes, so I went in for a taste test. I had the mint sweet pea soup for starters and it was great. It was a cold soup and had a light, fresh, and amazing taste to it. For second course I had the fish special, it was trout with beautiful skin on. I was a very surprised the dish comes with kimchi, sticky rice, and a tomato garnish. First bite my worries went away. It was wonderful and the flavors went really well together. Dessert was just aahh, I had the beet pana cotta. It is just a game changer you must try!!
Mediocre to bad food and almost always terrible service. They keep trying to reinvent this place, but somehow it never gets better.
This is a true gourmet restaurant-- the cooks are culinary students at NECI-- they put their full energy into making fine delicious food with a classic presentation. The bar downstairs was a great place to visit as well-- good for quiet conversations. Atmosphere was very cozy and wait staff most welcoming. I can't wait to return...
