I'm a Latin man visiting from NYC and I felt something off with this place. The hostess barely acknowledged us and stepped away for a couple minutes before talking to us. The tall bartender with shoulder length hair and the short bartender (probably wears a hat all the time) were rude. The people I traveled with (2 white men) felt the same. I couldn't help but sense some prejudice at this place. Didn't order more food or drinks. Establishments in Burlington VT seemed more welcoming.

The wait staff was superb: attentive, friendly, and exactly what I hope for from wait staff.

I would eat here again any time.

I want to start off by saying- the food was good. It wasn't anything special that I would travel out for again, but it was tasty. Proportions were pretty small, and not a lot on the menu. The beer menu is fun and they even have some good non-alcoholic drinks. The service on the other hand was not good. Our server was snippy with us when we asked questions, our bill was incorrect.. it was not a fun experience.

Fantastic beer selection. As an out-of-stater I was excited to try some of Vermont's finest hops and sours. We weren't in Montpelier for long but enjoyed a stop to Three Penny and a stroll around the downtown area.

The burger was really good. Quality beef, excellent cheese, good sauce, good bun. Bun was toasted just right, burger and fries as cooked perfectly toppings were fresh. House fries were delicious. Excellent beer selection, fantastic house root beer.

I had dinner here one night and the atmosphere was really nice - definitely what you expect when it's "craft-everything". The burger I had was delicious, but the fries were wanting and not 5-star, although decent. My grandfather had a porkchop special and he said it was good, but with him you never know. I actually feel bad for the waiter because he was trying to engage with my grandfather but this was probably his first "craft" dining experience, and doesn't like new things. I'll give it to the waiter for trying, though, he seemed to know a lot about beer. I'll have to come back someday.
